Working Principle

The TG-3100-EVC Turbine Gas Meter is a high-precision turbine gas meter designed for accurate flow measurement, featuring integrated real-time temperature and pressure compensation for volume correction to standard base conditions. Built from high-strength aluminum with a corrosion-resistant coating, it is engineered to withstand demanding industrial environments, making it ideal for a wide range of industrial applications.

 

The meter incorporates a finely balanced turbine rotor assembly supported by low-friction ball bearings, enabling smooth operation, minimal wear, and extended service life. A built-in flow conditioning section at the inlet stabilizes gas velocity and minimizes turbulence, ensuring consistent and accurate measurement. Its aerodynamic design delivers low pressure drop while maintaining excellent repeatability—perfect for submetering and critical process applications.

 

Equipped with an advanced Electronic Volume Corrector (EVC) not only adjusts the measured gas volume to base conditions by continuously monitoring temperature and pressure but also calculates mass flow in kilograms. High-accuracy sensors are securely integrated within the system to ensure precise real-time compensation. The EVC is enclosed in a rugged, weatherproof, and shock-resistant housing, providing robust protection for the electronics and ensuring reliable operation in all environmental conditions.
