Inline Thermal Mass Flow Meter

The BT-3020-G Inline thermal mass flow meter with a Flange connection is engineered to measure the flow of Air, Natural gas, LPG Gas, Biogas, Flue and Flare Gas, etc., in small pipes ranging from ½” up to 4” in size.

Air, Oxygen Gas, Natural gas, LPG Gas, Biogas, Flue & Flare Gas Sensor : SS 316 / Hastelloy C276 Size: DN20 to DN 200 Flange: ANSI B16.5, 150# / 300# 4-20mA HART, Pulse & RS 485 Modbus RTU Power Supply: 24 VDC / 230 VAC Temp: 0 ... +150°C

Product Description

The BT-3020-G Inline thermal mass flow meter, equipped with a dual platinum wire wound sensor encapsulated in a 316 Stainless Steel sheath represents an innovative approach to measuring gas flow rates with exceptional accuracy. This specialized meter utilizes a unique sensor design, employing dual platinum wire coils wound around a support structure. These coils serve as both heating and temperature sensing elements.

This flow meter is available in both integral and remote transmitter versions. The transmitter unit is equipped with a graphical LCD display, offering real-time flow data, cumulative values, velocity (nm/s) and process gas temperature. Moreover, it includes 4-20mA HART, RS485 and pulse interfaces, enhancing its connectivity and communication capabilities. The has dual power input source of 24 VDC as well as 230VAC. The transmitter comes in flame-proof enclosures ensuring the safety of personnel, equipment, and the surrounding environment in hazardous areas.

The BT-3020-G Inline thermal mass flow meter comes with an inbuilt diagnostic feature that serves as an intelligent system that continuously monitors, analyzes, and reports the health and performance of the meter itself. This feature goes beyond mere flow measurement by providing valuable insights into the meter's functionality, ensuring reliability, accuracy, and early detection of any potential issues.

Its inline model includes a flow tube or chamber through which the gas flows. This component is engineered to maintain a consistent and uniform flow profile, facilitating efficient interaction between the gas and the sensor elements placed within. The flange connection serves as a pivotal element, ensuring a secure and robust attachment of the flow meter to the pipeline. This connection is engineered to provide a tight seal, minimizing the risk of leaks, and maintaining the integrity of the system. This model is adaptable to various pipe diameters ranging from 1/2 inches to 4 inches with different flange ratings such as ANSI 150#, 300#, DIN2527 PN10, PN16 etc.

The BT-3020-G is meticulously engineered to accurately measure the flow rate of clean gases like Air, Natural gas, LPG Gas, Biogas, Flue and Flare Gas etc. This versatility makes it indispensable across industries reliant on precise gas control and management for diverse applications.
