Delhi, the capital city of India, is a big metropolis in the north. Referred to as New Delhi, the city has a rich history and cultural importance dating back many years, like many other Indian cities. Delhi is also part of what is collectively called the National Capital Region, which includes other cities like Noida and Gurgaon.
New Delhi is partly administered by the federal government of India and the local state government, which a chief minister heads. Being the capital city, Delhi hosts all the important government establishments and buildings, such as the Indian Parliament, the Supreme Court of India, and all principal central government offices.
Delhi is well connected with the rest of the country by rail, road, and air. The city is also connected to all parts of the world by airlines from different countries, which throng the recently renovated airport with new terminals. Metro rail is the most significant lifeline for people for local transport and connects the entire Delhi internally along with a few other bordering cities.
Key industries in Delhi include tourism, information technology, hotels, banking, media, and tourism. Many industrial areas that border Delhi also employ both local and migrant populations. With many manufacturing and industrial units, Delhi has manufacturers and suppliers of natural gas flow meters. With many vehicles plying on the roads, Delhi has always been hampered by high levels of air pollution that continue for a large part of the year. Due to the measures and guidelines imposed by the government to control pollution, CNG gas is in significant demand to be used as fuel for vehicles instead of the usual petrol and diesel, which are more important contributors to air pollution.
CNG, or compressed natural gas, is a common alternative to petrol OR gasoline. Methane gas is compressed to less than 1% of its volume and used as fuel in CNG. Being eco-friendly, CNG is found to be less toxic and is supposed to cause minimum contamination and pollution. CNG gas compressors are equipment used to compress the gas to a certain level of pressure, which can be used as fuel for vehicles. Natural gas flow meters are specifically designed to measure the amount of CNG gas dispensed. The equipment is also beneficial in calculating the amount of fuel used to power the compressor.
