We are looking for a GeM (Government e-Marketplace) Executive to manage and expand our business on the GeM portal. The ideal candidate will be responsible for product listing, bid/tender participation, order processing, and compliance management related to government procurement.
This role requires expertise in handling GeM portal operations, government tenders, and eprocurement processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. GeM Portal Management
- Handle end-to-end operations on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal.
- Register and update company details, products, and pricing on the platform.
- Ensure compliance with all GeM policies, terms, and conditions.
- Monitor competitor pricing and update product prices to stay competitive.
2. Product Listing & Catalog Management
- Upload and manage product listings for flow meters, level transmitters, pressure sensors, temperature sensors, and other instrumentation products.
- Ensure all product details, specifications, images, and documentation are correctly uploaded.
- Regularly update the product catalog based on new products, stock availability, and pricing.
3. Bid & Tender Management
- Identify and participate in bids, tenders, and direct purchase orders on GeM.
- Prepare and submit technical and financial bids in coordination with the sales and accounts teams.
- Track bid status, follow up on submitted tenders, and ensure timely response to queries.
- Negotiate terms and pricing with government buyers when required.
4. Order Processing & Execution
- Process orders received through the GeM portal and coordinate with the production team for timely dispatch.
- Generate invoices, shipping documents, and compliance certificates as per government regulations.
- Track and ensure timely delivery of orders to government departments.
5. Payment Follow-up & Reconciliation
- Monitor payment schedules and follow up with government buyers for timely payments.
- Maintain records of invoices, order details, and payment receipts.
- Coordinate with the accounts department for payment reconciliation.
6. Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure all necessary certifications, approvals, and quality standards are met for GeM listings.
- Keep updated with GeM policies, amendments, and procedural changes.
- Maintain proper records of tenders, quotations, and order history for audit and compliance.
7. Vendor Assessment & Relationship Management
- Liaise with government procurement officers and buyers to build strong relationships.
- Attend GeM training sessions, webinars, and government procurement meetings to stay updated on best practices.
- Resolve issues related to orders, payments, and portal compliance efficiently.
